This is a great, local event in Egg Harbor Township. On Sunday April 23rd you can enjoy a day full of fun while learning about the environment. The festival has a lot of great activities to entertain all ages. Enjoy the Turtlesinger all day with an interactive program where your little ones can learn all about turtles and get to feed and touch them too! The 4H Petting Zoo will be present all day, as well as, pony rides. You can go on tours of the different facilities as well as met ACUA’s mascot Supercan and learn about their recycling trucks!
There are also free workshops throughout the day. You can learn about a variety of topics like plants for pollinators, the importance of honeybees and pollination, herbalism, gardening for butterflies and about pollution from storm water. In addition to workshops there will also be vendors! The vendors will have a wide range of products from natural soaps and candles to solar companies.
